## Full Description
Virtusa is seeking a Gen AI Architect with hands-on experience in delivering project scope within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have previously led the AI and Generative AI Practice / AI Center of Excellence and remains up to date with industry trends related to data and analytics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a thought leader on AI at the enterprise level, providing strategic insights and guidance.
- Demonstrating strong storytelling and product branding skills to enhance acceptance of project outcomes.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with business areas, IT, Risk Management, and other functions to design, build, and implement expected outcomes.
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Managing change to facilitate the adoption of AI policies and practices.
- Staying informed about relevant legislation and regulations affecting AI in underwriting and ensuring compliance during the implementation of AI policies, processes, and standards.
- Understanding the existing and evolving technology stack required for AI Center of Excellence operations and the associated build vs. buy decisions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate-level degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, engineering, or machine learning.
- 10+ years of experience with machine learning utilizing large and complex datasets.
- Expertise in modeling techniques (e.g., linear regression, GLM, survival analysis, time series, deep learning) and machine learning techniques (e.g., neural networks, deep learning), NLP, and generative AI.
- Extensive NLP experience, including large language models and transformers.
- 2+ years of experience with generative AI solutions, including development, deployment, training, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
Language Requirements: English proficiency is essential.
