GenAI Engineer – Healthcare Domain

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

Generative AI (GenAI) Engineer

to design, develop, and deploy

AI‑driven solutions for the healthcare domain

. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with

large language models (LLMs), healthcare data, and enterprise‑grade AI systems

, and will work closely with clinicians, data scientists, and engineering teams to build secure, compliant, and scalable GenAI applications that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

This role requires the candidate to be based in Dubai and available for in‑person interviews in Dubai as part of the selection process.

Key Responsibilities

Generative AI & LLM Development

• Design, build, and deploy

Generative AI solutions

for healthcare use cases such as:

• Clinical documentation and summarization
• Medical knowledge assistants
• Patient engagement chatbots
• Healthcare analytics and decision support
• Develop and optimize applications using

LLMs

(Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, open‑source models).

• Build

Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)

systems leveraging medical knowledge bases, clinical records, and research literature.

Healthcare Data & Integration

• Integrate GenAI solutions with

healthcare data systems

, EHRs, clinical databases, and APIs.

• Process structured and unstructured healthcare data including clinical notes, discharge summaries, lab reports, and medical documents.
• Work with healthcare interoperability standards such as

FHIR and HL7

(where applicable).

Compliance, Security & Responsible AI

• Ensure AI solutions comply with

healthcare data privacy and regulatory standards

(HIPAA, GDPR, and local healthcare regulations).

• Implement

Responsible AI practices

, including explainability, bias detection, auditability, and safe handling of patient data.

• Design secure architectures with access control, encryption, and audit logging.

AI Engineering & Deployment

• Build

production‑grade AI pipelines

, including orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Deploy and scale GenAI solutions on

cloud platforms

(Azure preferred).

• Support

MLOps / LLMOps

pipelines for versioning, performance tracking, and drift detection.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with

healthcare professionals, researchers, product teams, and engineering stakeholders

.

• Translate clinical and business requirements into effective AI solutions.
• Participate in solution reviews, documentation, and technical discussions.

Location & Interview Requirement

• Candidate must be currently based in Dubai.
• Availability for in‑person (face‑to‑face) interviews in Dubai is mandatory.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in

Python

and AI/ML development

• Hands‑on experience with

Generative AI and LLM‑based applications

• Experience building

RAG architectures and prompt‑orchestration workflows

• Familiarity with

cloud‑based AI services

(Azure OpenAI preferred)

• Understanding of

healthcare data workflows and regulatory constraints

• Experience deploying AI solutions in

production environments

Good to Have

• Prior experience in

healthcare, life sciences, pharma, or health tech

• Experience with

Azure AI Search, vector databases, or agent‑based frameworks

• Knowledge of

medical NLP or clinical text processing

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Biomedical Informatics

, or related field
