The role

This role is responsible for owning the month-end close, ensuring financial accuracy, and managing statutory and indirect tax compliance for assigned entities. The role requires strong analytical skills, ownership, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include: 

Own and execute the month-end close, ensuring accurate and complete financial data.

Analyze variances, explain key movements, and monitor financial trends.

Support complex and non-routine transactions (e.g., large deals), assessing their impact on local financials and coordinating with Tax and Legal teams.

Maintain and execute statutory and tax compliance activities (VAT, CIT, regulatory and statistical filings, financial statements, local audits), including maintaining a clear compliance calendar.

Post and document statutory and tax adjustments in the ERP system.

Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems (e.g. NetSuite and local reporting tools).

Coordinate with Tax, Legal, and external consultants to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

Coordinate with local and group external auditors during audits and reviews.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain proper documentation.

Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

We expect you to have: 

6+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.

Experience in a Big Four firm is a plus.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.

Experience in multinational or multi-entity environments.

Familiarity with statutory and tax compliance processes.

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus).

Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.

Proficiency in English is required.

Strong ownership and attention to detail.

Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
