Job Opportunity: AI Team Lead (Production LLM & AML)
Are you an expert in LLMs and Agentic AI looking to lead a mission-critical project? We are seeking a seasoned AI Team Lead to direct and deliver high-impact AI initiatives within the financial services sector. The Role
As the AI Team Lead, you will bridge the gap between deep technical engineering and business strategy. You will oversee a confidential production LLM project, ensuring that emerging technologies like Agentic AI and Multi-step Reasoning are applied effectively to solve complex real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Strategy: Own the model strategy, evaluating open-weight models and selecting fine-tuning approaches such as SFT, DPO, and RLHF.
- Architecture & Design: Architect multi-step reasoning pipelines, RAG pipelines, and tool-use agents using Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Infrastructure & MLOps: Lead end-to-end deployment pipelines (DEV to PROD) on enterprise cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of ML/AI engineers, conduct code reviews, and set high engineering standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Translate complex technical trade-offs and model risk assessments for non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in ML/AI engineering, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead capacity.
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, Golang, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- LLM Expertise: Proven track record of delivering LLM fine-tuning, RAG, or model serving systems in production.
- Modern Tooling: Familiarity with Hugging Face (Qwen, DeepSeek), LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vLLM/SGLang.
- AI Productivity: Demonstrated ability to use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate engineering cycles.
Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with advanced fine-tuning (LoRA, QLoRA, Unsloth) and quantization (INT4/INT8).
- Knowledge of Computer Vision (YOLO), OCR, or vector databases (Milvus, pgvector).
- Experience with multilingual NLP, particularly CJK datasets.
- Prior experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) or regulated financial environments.
