Own the trading implementation and execution framework for strategies in global markets (with a focus on US and APAC), and lead or deeply participate in the rollout of new markets, providing clear direction to minimize trial-and-error
Leverage a deep understanding of market microstructure and trading rules to design and optimize real-world execution workflows, and handle complex trading issues (e.g., order constraints, liquidity limitations, PnL reconciliation discrepancies, and operational challenges)
Lead or participate in broker onboarding and evaluation, with a clear understanding of broker differences and strengths across markets and trading scenarios
Contribute to the design and optimization of trading risk controls to ensure stable strategy performance across markets
Capture and systematize trading experience into reusable frameworks and playbooks for market rollout and execution
Qualifications
5+ years extensive hands-on trading experience in US or APAC markets (required), with deep understanding of at least one market, including trading rules, market structure, and execution details
Direct experience working with major global brokers, with strong familiarity in margin frameworks, stock borrowing (locates), and PnL reconciliation (including fees)
Experience participating in 0 - to - 1 market or trading system rollout, with the ability to identify critical paths and avoid common pitfalls based on prior experience rather than trial-and-error
Strong understanding of real-world trading constraints, including order restrictions, liquidity, transaction costs, and operational complexities
Basic programming ability (e.g., Python), with the ability to understand trading system logic and assist in debugging and issue diagnosis in live trading
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external brokers
Fluent in both English and Chinese for professional communication
Preferred Qualifications
Experience across multiple markets (e.g., US + APAC), with proven ability to transfer knowledge across markets
Familiarity with broker-provided execution algos (e.g., VWAP, TWAP, POV), including their parameters and behavioral differences
Experience in transaction cost analysis or execution quality evaluation
