We are seeking an experienced Natural Gas and LNG Market Analyst to support the continued development and application of RBAC's G2M2 Global Gas Model.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in market fundamentals, combined with the quantitative and analytical skills needed to translate market data and research into structured modeling assumptions.
Experience and Background:
- 5+years of experience in European and/or Asian natural gas and LNG markets
- Strong understanding of market fundamentals, including supply, demand, pricing, infrastructure, and trade flows
- Familiarity with LNG markets, including contract structures, shipping dynamics, and regional pricing relationships (e.g., TTF, JKM)
- Experience reviewing market data and producing clear, actionable analysis
Analytical and Technical Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or computer science)
- Ability to work with and analyze large datasets
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and practical way
- Proficient using Excel Pivot Tables and Nested formulas, Access, Power BI, Power Point or similar analytical platforms

Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze European and global natural gas and LNG markets, including supply, demand, pricing, and trade flows
- Research, review, and interpret market data, identifying key drivers and trends
- Use market insights to develop model inputs and assumptions for G2M2
- Support scenario development and analysis, including explaining results and market impacts
- Work with clients to provide training, support, and clear explanations of market dynamics and model outputs
- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve data- or model-related issues
