As a Global Specialty Finance Analyst at Sedgwick reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial performance of our Global Specialty products during a period of focus and delivery. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role suited to someone who can quickly embed themselves at the heart of the business—balancing detailed financial analysis with close collaboration across international finance and operational teams. You’ll provide essential support across month‑end close, reporting, forecasting, billing, and internal debt management, while helping to maintain strong financial controls and operational efficiency. This is a temporary role for 6 months to support the business as it moves into its next stage of rapid growth. Working closely with finance colleagues across multiple regions, you’ll help ensure robust revenue recognition, effective working capital management, and accurate, timely financial reporting across four Global Specialty product lines. You’ll contribute insight and discipline to month‑end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and management charges, while maintaining oversight of billing, work‑in‑progress, and internal debt positions. By proactively identifying discrepancies and supporting their resolution, you’ll help ensure reliable financial outputs that underpin sound decision‑making. While delivery‑focused, this role also offers the opportunity to add value beyond day‑to‑day outputs. You’ll rapidly develop an understanding of existing reporting cycles and data flows, support ongoing process improvements, and help enhance the clarity and usability of financial reporting. Working alongside FP&A, you’ll contribute to budget and forecast cycles and support ad hoc projects as required—making this an ideal role for an adaptable, collaborative finance professional who can add immediate value in a global environment. The skills you will have when you apply: Professional qualification progress – Studying towards, and close to achieving, a full accountancy qualification. Stakeholder communication – Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with senior Finance and Operations stakeholders. Adaptability and flexibility – Comfortable onboarding quickly, stepping into new areas, and responding to changing priorities. Continuous improvement mindset – Proactive and solutions‑focused, with a willingness to improve ways of working. Strong analytical capability – Highly numerate, with the ability to analyse data and deliver insight with minimal supervision. Thriving in fast‑paced environments – Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Operational financial insight – Experience providing clear, actionable financial insight to operational management during month end. Excellent organisation and prioritisation – Well organised, dependable, and deadline‑driven. Process improvement focus – Curious and motivated to learn, streamline processes, and add value quickly. Systems experience – Experience with SAP and Business Objects is desirable, though not essential.
