What does this role look like?

The successful candidate for this position will collaborate within GSC and other functional and program organizations to develop, deploy and strengthen critical GSC processes within the GSC Operating Model. The successful candidate will also develop and execute strategies to improve GSC performance, manage internal stakeholder relationships, and analyze data to inform decision-making. This will enable the delivery of our strategic commitments to customers across Space Lines of Business (LOBs) and support the success of programs as we experience a significant ramp-up in production. You will leverage your expertise in supply chain management to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to improve processes.

In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:

• Support development and implementation of GSC Operating Model
• Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of core supply chain infrastructure, operating model, and standard work.
• Support the development and deployment of critical GSC business processes.
• Analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of standard work, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.

This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado, and be expected to work in the office.

To be effective, ideally, you should also have:

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of business operations, finance, and strategy.
• Facilitation experience: Ability to lead a team of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members, both verbally and in writing.
