Responsibilities:
Assist senior analysts and traders in conducting market research and economic analysis across various asset classes (equities, fixed income, currencies, commodities). Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify market trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks. Support the development of trading strategies and investment recommendations by providing data-driven insights. Prepare reports, presentations, and financial models for internal stakeholders and client meetings. Monitor financial news and market developments, providing timely updates to the trading desk. Help in the execution of trades and portfolio management activities under supervision. Learn and utilize various financial databases and analytical tools (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon). Participate in team meetings, contribute to discussions, and learn about the firm's investment philosophy. Understand and adhere to all company policies, compliance regulations, and ethical standards. Contribute to ad-hoc projects as assigned by the management team. Develop a foundational understanding of risk management principles in financial markets. Qualifications:
Recent graduate (within the last 12 months) with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investment management. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, charting) and ideally experience with financial modeling. Familiarity with statistical software or programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) is a plus. Strong research and data gathering abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
