The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a rotational program designed to develop the next generation of finance leaders. Analysts will gain broad exposure across four critical finance functions - Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Tax, and Payments - building both technical depth and cross-functional perspective.
Participants will be mentored by senior finance leaders, will complete structured learning curricula, and will be positioned for accelerated advancement into Associate or Senior Analyst roles upon program completion.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across business units
- Build and maintain financial models to analyze business performance and identify trends
- Prepare executive-level reporting packages and variance analyses
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop KPIs and financial targets
Accounting
- Participate in the monthly and quarterly financial close process
- Assist in preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Support internal controls documentation, testing, and SOX compliance activities
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Tax
- Assist with federal, state, and local tax compliance filings and documentation
- Support tax provision calculations and deferred tax analysis under ASC 740
- Research tax regulations and assist in evaluating planning strategies
- Coordinate with external advisors and respond to tax authority inquiries
Payments
- Assist with daily treasury operations including cash positioning and liquidity management
- Support payment processing, settlement reconciliation, and vendor disbursements
- Help monitor banking relationships and analyze bank fee structures
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives within the payments function
Qualifications / Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a finance, accounting, or related role
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- Solid understanding of financial statements and foundational accounting principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey complex data clearly
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
Preferred:
- Progress toward or completion of CPA, CFA, or MBA
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Hyperion
- Prior internship or rotational program experience in a corporate finance setting
