Graduate Trainee - Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, gathering data and performing analysis. Analyze financial performance, identifying key trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Contribute to the development of financial models and business cases. Assist in the reconciliation of financial data and ensure accuracy and integrity. Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests from various departments. Participate in team meetings, contributing insights and perspectives. Learn and apply financial software and reporting tools. Understand and adhere to company financial policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas) is essential. Familiarity with financial modeling concepts is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Eagerness to learn and develop within the finance profession. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
