Our client is a growth equity firm backing the next generation of B2B SaaS and software companies. The firm partners with exceptional founders at the inflection point between early traction and scaled market leadership, and is looking for a sharp, driven Associate to join their Boston team.

Why This Role

The firm was founded by two investors with deeply institutional pedigrees, including backgrounds at Bain Capital Ventures and Vista Equity Partners. The fund recently closed its third vehicle at $450 million, significantly oversubscribed, hitting its hard cap in just four months. Total AUM now exceeds $1 billion, with substantial capital ready to deploy. A leading growth equity firm of this caliber rarely hires externally at the Associate level. This is a rare seat with a real mandate.

The Role

This is a high-ownership seat with real exposure across the full investment lifecycle. Day to day, the Associate will:

• Source and cultivate deals, building relationships with founders and intermediaries across defined verticals
• Build and own financial models that stress-test unit economics and inform investment decisions
• Produce rigorous market landscape analyses that surface opportunities before they are widely known
• Work directly with portfolio company management teams on strategic and operational growth initiatives

Candidates with prior deal sourcing experience are of particular interest to the team and are encouraged to highlight it prominently.

What the Firm Is Looking For

Buyside experience is heavily preferred. Candidates coming from private equity or growth equity will stand out.
