GSE Mechanical Engineers (Sys GSE) in Aerospace

Varstaff is currently searching for several GSE Mechanical Engineers (Sys GSE) in Aerospace for a highly reputable company in Los Angeles, CA. (in-person highly recommended however remote is available.)

Must be US Citizen!

Must be a W2 employee!

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site support for hardware integration activities.

Responsibilities include supporting integration across multiple hardware elements

Assisting with MGSE design and development

Help plan and execute integration activities,

Troubleshoot hardware/interface issues, and supporting ECNs in coordination with module owners.

Required:

Mechanical assembly and integration of hardware systems;

MGSE/GSE design and development; troubleshooting mechanical fit-up, interface, and integration issues;

Ability to work with cross-functional engineering teams and module owners; ECNs, design updates, or configuration changes; support for prototype, test, or production hardware;

Strong mechanical aptitude;

Integration planning and execution;

CAD-based mechanical design.

Preferred:

Familiarity with assembly fixtures, handling equipment, and support tooling;

Support for hardware builds in lab, test, or production environments.

Remote is available however in-person is highly preferred.
