Role Overview
The Head of AI & Data will define and lead the enterprise AI and Data strategy, turning data into a strategic asset across the Group’s global property and hospitality portfolio. This role will champion AI-driven innovation in guest experience, predictive maintenance, revenue optimisation, sustainability analytics, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Group-wide AI & Data strategy, including data governance, architecture, and monetisation frameworks.
- Build and scale AI solutions for key use cases: personalised guest experiences, dynamic pricing, smart-building optimisation, predictive asset maintenance, and sustainability reporting.
- Establish a centralised data platform (data lake / warehouse) with robust governance, quality, and ethical AI standards.
- Lead the AI Centre of Excellence, mentoring data scientists, AI engineers, and analysts while partnering with business units.
- Drive measurable business impact (e.g., revenue uplift, cost reduction, Net Promoter Score improvement) through AI pilots and scaled deployments.
- Collaborate closely with the IT team, other business units, and external AI/PropTech partners.
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy laws and responsible AI principles.
- Stay ahead of AI trends and translate them into Group advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quantitative field; Advanced certifications (e.g., Certified Data Scientist) advantageous.
- 10–15+ years of experience in data & AI leadership, with at least 5 years heading AI/Data functions in real estate, retail, or multi-national company groups.
- Hands-on experience delivering enterprise AI solutions with proven ROI.
- Strong background in data platforms, cloud analytics, and MLOps.
- Demonstrated success building high-performing data/AI teams in matrixed, multi-national environments.
- Excellent business acumen and communication skills; ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin); Hong Kong / Asia-Pacific experience preferred.
