Role Description

The Head of Automation & Engineering will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of automation and engineering processes, ensuring efficiency and innovation in operations. Responsibilities include leading initiatives in process automation, managing robotics integration, and analyzing operational workflows to identify areas for improvement. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, with some flexibility for remote work. The candidate will also lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Automation and Process Automation
• Proficiency in Robotics and related engineering technologies
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to evaluate processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Experience in Team Management and the ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Experience in the extraction, refining, or resource management industries is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred
