Job Description

Risk Management and Assurance Specialist

Act as a Risk Management and Mission Assurance Specialist to join our growing team. Advance our program with an emphasis on incident management and crisis management functions. Provide subject matter expertise to our Stakeholders on all phases of incident response including plan development, testing, training and exercises, and performance metrics. Respond to and manage recovery teams through disasters, crisis, and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations. Ensure that robust, action‑oriented and exercisable emergency plans exist across our global footprint. Leverage your high‑quality interpersonal skills to form strong and trusted partnerships with all stakeholders. You will support incident response, coordinate, and manage Incident Command Teams through disasters and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations. Support Crisis Management by assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of crises, including support of evacuation plans.

3+ years of experience with managing or supporting an incident management program for a private sector organization

Experience with developing, testing and maintaining emergency response plans

Experience with developing, gathering and reporting on incident response performance metrics

Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas or Salesforce administration

Experience in creating cross‑functional relationships within a globally dispersed Incident Command Team, including developing and facilitating training on incident response

Knowledge of all phases of the Business Continuity lifecycle, including crisis management

Ability to work within an on‑call rotation schedule for crisis response

Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Risk Management, or Emergency Management

Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint

Knowledge of process improvement principles and methods

Ability to work independently while supporting multiple projects

Ability to work evenings or weekends in response to business interruption events
