Hedge Fund Trading Assistant

My client is located in NYC

This role sits with the front office and will work directly with traders and Portfolio Managers

Full portfolio support with great exposure and a chance to do a lot more than ops

4 days in office

3-6 years of experience

Base 110-150k +25/80k bonus (pending experience)

Responsibilities:

Trade and Order Management support for the Portfolio Managers

Production of risk, exposure, and performance reports

Assess daily functions and recommend process improvements for a more efficient workflow

Setting up and amending new and current portfolios

Any general support needed for both Equity and Fixed Income Portfolio Managers

Requirements:

Full trade life-cycle experience, including booking trades

Previous experience working with traders or Portfolio Managers preferred

Strong knowledge of both Fixed Income and Equity markets

Team player who can work under pressure and deliver within a fast-paced environment

Ability to multitask

Bachelor's Degree from a TOP school with exemplary grades and proven success in their career

Experience working with Aladdin is a huge plus
