Our growing Robotics and Engineering program is seeking a passionate instructor to lead our students into the future of technology.
Opportunity:
Are you a dynamic and innovative educator with a passion for robotics and engineering? We're seeking a dedicated Robotics and Engineering Instructor to join our team for the 2026-27 academic year. This role offers the chance to build and expand our program, teach a variety of engineering and robotics courses, and inspire the next generation of engineers and technologists. Additional courses will be added to create a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and rigorous robotics and engineering curriculum, incorporating design thinking and project-based learning.
- Teach courses in areas such as robotics programming, mechanical design, electronics, and engineering principles. Additional courses will be added to create a full-time position.
- Organize and lead robotics competitions and engineering challenges, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain and manage the robotics and engineering lab, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Mentor and advise students on engineering projects and career pathways in STEM fields.
- Utilize industry-standard software and hardware to enhance instruction, including CAD software and robotics platforms.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate robotics and engineering concepts into other subject areas.
- Contribute to the school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Experience with robotics platforms (e.g., VEX, FIRST Robotics) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
