Director of Property Operations / Regional Property Manager – Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Property Operations / Regional Property Manager, you will:

  • Lead daily operations of the HOA division, ensuring efficiency and service excellence
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow the portfolio
  • Manage, mentor, and support property managers and staff
  • Serve as primary contact for HOA Boards and key stakeholders
  • Attend and support board meetings, advising on governance and operations
  • Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and reserve studies
  • Ensure compliance with state laws, CC&Rs, bylaws, and regulations
  • Resolve complex HOA issues, including homeowner disputes and board relations
  • Support business development, proposals, and onboarding of new communities
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance

Director of Property Operations / Regional Property Manager – Qualifications

  • 10+ years of property management experience (HOA/community management preferred)
  • 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong background as a Regional Property Manager or Director of Property Operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field (preferred)
  • Professional certifications such as CAM or PCAM (strongly preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of HOA governance, compliance, and operations
  • Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong financial expertise (budgeting, forecasting, contract management)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism
