ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our property management team. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of homeowner associations, partnering with boards, supporting homeowners, managing vendors, and ensuring each community runs smoothly. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage day-to-day HOA operations for a portfolio of assigned communities
- Serve as the primary liaison for board members and homeowners, handling communication via phone, email, e-blasts, websites, and mailings
- Schedule, prepare materials for, and attend board meetings (regular, special, and emergency)
- Ensure communities remain in compliance with their CC&Rs, Bylaws, and rules and regulations
- Conduct periodic property inspections and follow up on any identified issues
- Manage capital improvement and reserve projects from bid solicitation through completion
- Maintain association websites and resource centers with up-to-date, well-organized content
- Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, facilities, and front desk staff as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of HOA or community association management experience (required)
- CAM license or CAI credentials preferred; must be able to obtain certification within 1 year if not currently licensed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you're comfortable speaking to a board of directors and a frustrated homeowner on the same afternoon
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple portfolios and deadlines without dropping the ball
- Working knowledge of vendor management, maintenance issues, and construction oversight
- Proficiency with standard office technology and property management software
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for board meetings and community events
- A sense of humor and the resilience that comes with experience in this industry
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
