Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our property management team. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of homeowner associations, partnering with boards, supporting homeowners, managing vendors, and ensuring each community runs smoothly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy variety in your workday, and take pride in building strong relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage day-to-day HOA operations for a portfolio of assigned communities
  • Serve as the primary liaison for board members and homeowners, handling communication via phone, email, e-blasts, websites, and mailings
  • Schedule, prepare materials for, and attend board meetings (regular, special, and emergency)
  • Ensure communities remain in compliance with their CC&Rs, Bylaws, and rules and regulations
  • Conduct periodic property inspections and follow up on any identified issues
  • Manage capital improvement and reserve projects from bid solicitation through completion
  • Maintain association websites and resource centers with up-to-date, well-organized content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, facilities, and front desk staff as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of HOA or community association management experience (required)
  • CAM license or CAI credentials preferred; must be able to obtain certification within 1 year if not currently licensed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you're comfortable speaking to a board of directors and a frustrated homeowner on the same afternoon
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple portfolios and deadlines without dropping the ball
  • Working knowledge of vendor management, maintenance issues, and construction oversight
  • Proficiency with standard office technology and property management software
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for board meetings and community events
