Home Automation Programmer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Home Automation Programmer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, programming, and commissioning smart home and building automation systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in KNX, Control4, Lutron and similar automation platforms. You will be responsible for bringing integrated smart living solutions to life—from initial design to final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and commission home and building automation systems (KNX, Lutron, Control4, etc.)
• Configure and integrate lighting, HVAC, AV, access control, and shading systems.
• Work with project managers, designers, and installation teams to ensure seamless system delivery.
• Create and maintain project documentation, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
• Troubleshoot and provide remote or on-site support for system issues.
• Conduct client handovers and provide training on system usage.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and client requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automation technologies and programming tools.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or a related field.

· 3–5 years of proven experience in home or building automation programming.

· Hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: KNX, Control4, Lutron, Crestron, AMX, Savant.

· Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics.

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

· Good communication and documentation abilities.

Pay:

· Proposed Salary between AED 4,000 – AED 9,000 commensurate with experience.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Mandatory requirement:

• If selected, then the applicant must be ready to join within 3-5 working days.

Language:

• English (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Required), access to your own vehicle is a plus.
• KNX, Control 4, Lutron, Crestron and other Training certificates.
