HVAC Mechanical Engineer – EIT

A high-performing building commissioning and sustainability consulting firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking a HVAC Mechanical Engineer – EIT to join its entrepreneurial, close-knit team. Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Mechanical Engineer – EIT position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, building science, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and submittals

• Experience or strong understanding of HVAC commissioning, building systems, sustainability, and energy efficiency

• Manage multiple commissioning projects from start to finish, including scopes, meetings, budgets, resources, reports, and project coordination

• Work both independently and as part of a team while communicating clearly with contractors, clients, and internal project teams

• Perform both office and field work, including construction site visits and travel typically within 1 to 3 hours

• Strong Microsoft Office skills; HubSpot experience is a plus

• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain government security clearance; PE license or path toward licensure is a plus

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
