In-Country Analyst (freelance and home-based)
Responsibilities
- Conduct Secondary Research on industries/companies/consumer trends (30%)
- Conduct cold calls/trade interview with companies and associations to get qualitative and quantitative insights of various industries (30%)
- Preparation and writing of company/industry reports, working closely with project manager on a regular basis to ensure delivery of high-quality research outputs (20%)
- Store-visits to various retail outlets to track brand/product information (10%)
- Engage in data calculations, analysis and estimations to develop national size/shares/data (10%)
Assignments may vary by project and might not include all listed tasks.
Requirements
- Commit at least 20-30 hours per week during working hours (from Monday to Friday)
- Comfortable in conducting interviews/discussion via phone with companies
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
- Language proficiency in Cantonese and English
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proven market research skills
