Job Summary
Enclave Building Solutions is a growing MEP firm doing tenant buildouts, restaurants, and multi-family work. We're expanding into Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and need a sharp independent Electrical Designer/Engineer for contract work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver electrical power distribution, lighting, and control drawings for permit and construction.
- Support our first BESS project: system sizing, integration, one-lines, grounding, protection, and coordination with inverters/batteries.
- Size electrical systems and design behind-the-meter microgrids integrating solar, generators, BESS, and optional UPS.
- Meet NEC 706, NFPA 855, UL, and AHJ requirements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years MEP electrical design with strong power distribution.
- Experience with BESS, solar/storage, or microgrids is a major plus.
- Solid in AutoCAD/Revit and load calculations.
- PE license preferred not required.
- Reliable remote contractor delivering clean, fast work.
Pay & Terms:
- $45–80/hr (DOE), 1099 remote, flexible hours.
- Start with the BESS bid, then mix of traditional MEP as we scale.
