In this role, you’ll support our Global Supply Managers and help keep procurement activities running smoothly across functions such as Logistics, Sales, Marketing, and Retail in Europe.

This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement fundamentals (sourcing, quote comparisons & analysis, purchase order management, supplier coordination, and data/KPI reporting) while working in a fast-paced, international environment.

What you’ll do

As a Procurement Intern, you will support the Procurement team with both day-to-day execution and basic process coordination:

Supplier management: Help source and screen suppliers, request and compare quotes, and evaluate pricing and delivery options (especially for logistics-related services/products)

Purchase order (PO) support: Assist with creating, tracking, managing purchase orders to ensure timely processing and alignment with procurement policies 

Reporting & KPIs: Support the preparation of procurement reports and dashboards; help track metrics such as supplier performance, order accuracy, and delivery timelines

Administrative support: Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation; support invoice troubleshooting and document follow-ups when needed

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams such as Logistics, Finance, and Operations to support efficient procurement workflows and timely issue resolution

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, structured, and comfortable working with data and stakeholders:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (HBO/WO), preferably in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

Flexible and adaptable, comfortable collaborating with US stakeholders and occasionally working slightly shifted hours when needed

Strong attention to detail and an organized way of working

Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Intermediate Excel skills (required): able to build and maintain structured trackers, use formulas, and work with datasets

PowerPoint skills (required): comfortable creating clear reporting slides and basic presentations

Nice to have

Familiarity with procurement or finance systems such as Coupa and/or SAP

Exposure to negotiation and/or contracting concepts (even through coursework or projects)

Previous internship, coursework, or project experience related to procurement, supply chain, or operations

Familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet and/or Tableau

Interest in the automotive / EV industry

Basic understanding of procurement processes (RFQs, supplier comparisons, POs, invoice flow)

What you’ll gain
