We're seeking an Industrial Automation Project Engineer in Seattle, WA to support the delivery of automation and controls projects for industrial and manufacturing clients.

- Develop expertise across diverse industrial control applications
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning and executing industrial automation projects
- Develop control system designs, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Program PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
- Review vendor submittals and equipment specifications
- Coordinate with electrical contractors and system integrators
- Perform site visits to verify installation and support startup activities
- Document project changes and maintain as-built records
- Support factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing
- Track project schedules, costs, and deliverable status
Requirements
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Experience with HMI/SCADA system configuration
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and instrumentation
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with VFDs, motor controls, and process instrumentation
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet)
- AutoCAD or electrical design software proficiency
