About the Job

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer with experience and a passion for industrial process design, metallurgy, and manufacturing operations to support our green steel production development. If you love designing efficient industrial systems AND operating the equipment that brings them to life, we want to hear from you! At Sparkmate, you'll be part of a dynamic, flat-hierarchy, and fun team where you'll work on real-world industrial challenges and help develop breakthrough sustainable steel manufacturing technology.

This role is very hands-on, requiring strong mechanical design and integration abilities.

What You’ll Do

• Design industrial process flows in the context of iron and steel production and steel production
• Define specifications for new equipment and process
• Manage relationships with vendors and manufacturers
• Technical support for equipment installation and maintenance
• Operate machines for metallurgy processing : annealing furnace, sand blasting, shot blasting, rotary tumbler, etc.
• Manage production and analysis of iron and steel samples
• Experience in metallurgy or materials engineering is a plus

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of industrial process design and equipment specification
• Hands-on experience operating technical equipment and machinery in production environments
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and technical procurement
• Proficiency with CAD software and process modeling tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Passion for sustainability and decarbonizing the steel industry

The role is an on-site position as we all work in the lab.
