Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly analytical, results-driven, and innovative Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in the vibrant heart of Covent Garden, London. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive process analysis and value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for improvement.

• Design and implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve quality.

• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to monitor operational efficiency and identify trends.

• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement workshops and training sessions for client teams.

• Utilize statistical analysis and simulation software to model processes, forecast performance, and validate proposed solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and technologies seamlessly into existing operations.

• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new methodologies in industrial engineering and operational excellence.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Industrial Engineering role, preferably within consulting or manufacturing.

• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification highly preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

• Expertise in process mapping, time and motion studies, and facility layout design.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Minitab, Arena, or similar simulation/statistical software.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or an MBA.

• Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.

• Experience with supply chain optimization and logistics management.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).

• Prior consulting experience working with diverse clients and industries.

• Knowledge of automation and Industry 4.0 concepts.
