Employment Logistics:
The Industrial Engineer drives operational excellence across facilities by standardizing engineered processes, optimizing dock door and chute configurations, and scaling cross-dock and sortation improvements. This role blends analytical work with field-based execution, using data to design solutions centrally and then leading on-site implementations that reduce rehandle, improve quality, and increase throughput. By providing localized technical ownership, the Industrial Engineer helps shift the network from reactive troubleshooting to proactive, scalable optimization. Travel is required (up to 50%).
Unpacking the Benefits:
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, and life outside of work.
The Must-Haves:
Your Mission in Motion:
Analyze workflows, engineered processes, and facility layouts; collect and interpret operational data to identify efficiency gains, waste reduction, cost savings, and throughput improvements, then present findings in a clear, actionable format.
Develop and implement engineered standards, performance metrics, and labor models; design, test, and refine process improvements using time studies, work sampling, simulations, and value-stream mapping.
Support facility layouts, dock door/chute configuration, equipment specifications, and material flow plans to strengthen cross-dock and sortation performance.
Drive sustainable improvements by partnering with operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain; lead changeovers, train teams, and standardize best practices across multiple sites.
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methods; perform root cause analysis to mitigate operational risk and implement data-driven corrective action plans.
