Industrial Engineering Associate Manager (Level 4) | Lockheed Martin

You will be the Industrial Engineering Associate Manager for Lockheed Martin's Missiles & Fire Control Industrial Engineering team.

What You Will Be Doing As the Industrial Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of industrial engineers in various activities aimed at improving manufacturing performance.

This involves implementation of cost step-down strategies, span improvement, conducting capacity assessments, efficiency calculations, trend analysis, work standard measurements, production simulation & modeling, and production floor layout optimization.

The selected candidate will be a balanced leader, with a strong technical background in data analytics and manufacturing or production experience, while also demonstrating soft skills for managing a team with a variety of experience levels.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

• Mentor, coach, and develop the shop floor industrial engineering team; identify skill gaps and create training plans.
• Lead time?studies, work?measurement, line balancing, and facility?layout redesigns to improve flow and reduce waste.

Facilitate regular capacity analyses for the site and for program?specific requests, coordinating the team's data collection, modeling, and reporting to ensure timely, accurate capacity forecasts.

Lead continuous-improvement initiatives that reduce waste in HPU and span to increase overall site productivity.
