Industrial Engineering Lead - Operations Excellence

Our client is searching for an experienced Industrial Engineering Lead to champion Operations Excellence initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across various operational functions by applying advanced industrial engineering principles and methodologies. Your leadership will be instrumental in optimizing workflows, enhancing productivity, and reducing operational costs.

Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams in the identification and implementation of process improvement projects, utilizing tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints. You will develop and deploy data-driven strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. This involves conducting process analyses, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations, with expertise in simulation, modeling, and statistical analysis. Proficiency in relevant software packages and a proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion are essential.

Furthermore, you will mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization in a remote setting. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering and operations improvement, is required.
