Contract Logistics Specialist

As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne + Nagel, you manage end‑to‑end warehousing operations for our customers, ensuring precise handling of goods such as flowers and fresh ingredients for local stores.

Responsibilities

Manage the site's Continuous Improvement (CI) program for quality and productivity, including Kaizen activities and Lean Six projects.

Support testing, evaluating, and introducing new technologies in contract logistics.

Align projects and CI activity to meet production system savings targets and regional productivity improvement targets.

Present project portfolios resulting from Value Stream Analysis.

Communicate with customers and suppliers and plan & calculate value‑added services at the customer's request.

Validate savings for the site with financial controllers and maintain data integrity.

Support development of productivity management tools to monitor productivity at process and site levels.

Assist operations in developing Kuehne + Nagel Excellence levels in the region from Blue through Gold.

Create SOPs and control sustainability of processes based on KPIs.

Coach Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belts with the Regional Black Belt.

Support occasional travel for training and classes.

Qualifications

Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Continuous Improvement experience : 3–5 years.

5 years in a warehousing environment.

Project Management experience : 2–5 years.

Lean Six Green Belt certification.

Ability to travel for training and classes as needed.

Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $66,170 to $82,713. Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement.
