Industrialization Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Industrialization Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Carson, CA. Ideally looking for applicants with hands-on 3D printing expertise who can lead aerospace cabin industrialization, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive efficient production from design to deployment.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Job Location: Carson, CA (Onsite)

Job Duration: 06 months contract

Industrial Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead industrialization of aerospace cabin components, including 3D printing / additive manufacturing processes from concept to production
• Develop and optimize manufacturing workflows, BOMs, cycle times, and line setup for cost-effective production
• Drive cross-functional collaboration (Design, Manufacturing, Tooling) to implement DFMA, Lean, and process improvements

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering with experience in additive manufacturing (3D printing)
• Hands-on exposure to production line setup, CNC/composites, and Lean tools (VSM, 5S, Kaizen)
• Strong skills in process optimization, project management, and CAD tools (AutoCAD or similar)
