We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and system design for one of our largest financial in-house clients.
Your new role
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions across Operating Systems, including Linux, Windows, and virtualization platforms (Hypervisors).
- Evaluate emerging technologies and infrastructure solutions to identify the best-fit options for various projects.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define system requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures.
- Perform infrastructure configurations and support activities, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, installation, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, backup and recovery, testing, and capacity planning.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' experience in IT infrastructure support and system design.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing and virtualisation technologies.
- Proven experience administering Operating Systems, including Linux, Windows, and Hypervisors.
- Hands-on experience in scripting for automation and process optimisation is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with storage and database technologies is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
