Job Description
This role might be the right fit for you if you’re looking for a role to develop both your analytical and creative muscles, keen to transform raw data into meaningful insights. You’ll uncover patterns and trends in media activity and consumer behaviour, and then translate your findings to tell our clients a compelling story.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Media monitoring and social listening – You’ll use our proprietary platform to monitor clients’ mainstream media activity, as well as “listen” to what is being said about our clients and the issues they are interested in on social media.
- Data analysis and trend-spotting – You’ll be involved in preparing data sets, conducting quality control checks, and performing both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Ultimately, you’re on the lookout to discover what is driving media/brand activity and consumer behaviour, both across mainstream and social media sources.
- Report writing – You’ll transform your findings into clear and concise reports for your portfolio of clients.
- Project management – You’ll be in-charge of managing multiple projects, and ensuring on-time deliverables and client satisfaction
- Cross-collaboration – You’ll sit with the Insights Team, but you’ll also be working with our highly experienced Business Development and Client Success teams to help create and deliver compelling reports and projects.
- Methodology exploration – You’ll be given opportunities to explore different approaches, including AI tools, to improve work flows and process efficiency
- Indulge in industry trends – You’ll also get to research and write about topics of interest that will be housed in our marketing pieces in the form of blog posts, whitepapers and webinars.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Economics, or Business-related discipline.
- Preferably 1 – 2 years of experience in a data analysis, marketing, communications, research or social media role.
- An excellent command of the English language with strong writing and analytical skills.
- An interest in social media and consumer behaviour.
- A passion for storytelling and an out-of-this-world attention to detail.
- Experience in working with large sets of data using Excel or other statistical software.
