Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Test Engineer – Aerospace Propulsion & Space Systems

Join a cutting-edge aerospace company shaping the future of propulsion and spacecraft technologies. We’re looking for a Senior I&C Test Engineer to design, automate, and improve test systems for propulsion, avionics, and spacecraft hardware.

What You’ll Do

• Develop real-time control systems and state machines for test stand automation
• Build and maintain instrumentation systems for pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, and electrical measurements
• Design scalable control hardware/software and electrical harnesses
• Collaborate across software, mechanical, avionics, and propulsion teams
• Analyze test data to drive performance improvements and failure investigations
• Mentor junior engineers and standardize I&C best practices

What You Bring

• 5+ years in instrumentation & controls for testing or automation
• Experience with Python, LabVIEW, C/C++, PLCs, Linux, Git, and scripting
• Hands-on experience with test stands, control panels, and data acquisition systems
• Ability to safely work with high-voltage and safety-critical hardware
• Strong cross-disciplinary collaboration and leadership skills

Bonus: Experience with HIL testing, PCB design, Simulink/Stateflow, and space systems
