Responsibilities

As an engineer, you will work closely with interdisciplinary partners and diverse engineering teams to ensure project success. Your daily activities may involve developing design studies, preparing engineering calculations and analyses, attending meetings, conducting site walkdowns, or mentoring junior employees. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Create Impactful Engineering Deliverables: Produce precise and high-quality drawings, calculations, and analyses that surpass industry codes, standards, and client expectations.
  • Set the Standard: Develop engineering documents that not only meet but exceed client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay on the Cutting Edge: Continuously enhance your knowledge in industry codes, safety principles, and advanced design techniques.
  • Drive Quality & Precision: Deliver superior engineering solutions aligned with rigorous quality assurance programs.
  • Cultivate Strong Client Connections: Build trust through clear communication and consistently high-quality engineering results.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs that address various project requirements.
  • Be Active in the Field: Take your expertise on-site, working directly with clients, performing detailed plant walkdowns, and ensuring all components comply with engineering standards.

Qualifications

This position encompasses a range of internal levels. Minimum qualifications for our mid-level role include:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical or a similar Engineering Degree from an accredited university.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing electrical systems.
  • Experience in one of the following industries is highly preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial (including chemical or pulp & paper), energy, and government (DOE) projects.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within teams.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Note: Some roles may require work on federal contracts, necessitating U.S. citizenship for eligibility. For these specific roles, only applicants who can confirm their U.S. citizenship will be considered.

  • Senior Engineers typically have 7 years of related post-graduate experience.
  • Principal Engineers typically have 10 years of related post-graduate experience.

Pay Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
