We are looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll contribute to groundbreaking projects, including advanced semiconductor manufacturing and research facilities.

As part of an innovative, multidisciplinary team, you'll design and optimize control systems for various processes, collaborating closely with architects and engineers to deliver exceptional solutions for new facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Sizing valves and specifying instrumentation
  • Designing panels and managing I/O assignments
  • Documenting and modeling design information
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards

To thrive in this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 8 years of experience in designing Instrumentation and Control Systems
  • Working knowledge of PLC, PAC, DDC, and DCS systems
  • The ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Portland, OR

Ideally, you will also have:

  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
  • Strong collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork across various disciplines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
