Instrumentation & Controls Engineer - Mining

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with 8-10 years of relevant experience. You will prepare control deliverables, assist with P&ID inputs, and conduct sizing calculations for various instrumentation. Strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of applicable codes are essential for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare control deliverables like Control Narratives and loop drawings
• Provide inputs to mechanical packages and process P&IDs
• Conduct instrument sizing calculations and prepare datasheets
• Review RFQ and approve vendor documentation
• Offer technical support to design teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Licensed Engineer in Ontario – P.Eng
• 8-10 years of I&C design experience in mining
• Knowledge of SPI (SmartPlant instrumentation)
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
