Responsibilities

Envision a workday where you lead exciting design engineering projects, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding, innovative solutions on time and within budget. In this role, you will oversee:

  • Visionary Leadership & Team Coordination: Lead teams to deliver innovative design solutions, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Engineering Innovation: Collaborate with technical staff to craft technically sound and competitive engineering proposals.
  • Strategic Project Mastery: Manage projects with precision, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Financial Stewardship & Performance Insight: Effectively handle project financials, providing valuable insights and ensuring optimal performance throughout.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted partner to navigate project success and exceed expectations.
  • Business Growth & Opportunity Leadership: Identify new business opportunities and shape proposals that drive future success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a relevant Engineering discipline OR PMP Certification with 10 years of applicable experience.
  • Experience in I&C Design Engineering, including modification and implementation processes, calculations, specifications, etc., within power generation facilities.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the nuclear or power industries as an I&C Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Professional Engineer Licensure strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of budget and accounting processes.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, strategic planning, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across disciplines and teams.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to secure and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
  • Willingness to travel between 10-15% of the time; travel duration may vary based on project needs.

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD $105,400.00 to USD $170,000.00 per year, depending on experience, skills, and education.
