Job Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory and advanced analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies in customer behavior, digital engagement, and agency/channel performance.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and build predictive models that address business challenges.
- Develop predictive models or forecasts (e.g., customer lifetime value, churn risk, cross-sell/up-sell opportunities, loss ratio predictions).
- Solve complex problems in agent performance, customer digital footprints, and policy funneling.
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
Job Requirements
- At least 5–7 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, experience in insurance agency reporting is an advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methods
- Expertise in SQL for data manipulation and querying
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong ability to work with large, complex datasets and derive actionable insights
- Deep understanding of insurance domain metrics: loss ratio, combined ratio, premiums, claims frequency/severity, retention, acquisition cost, etc.
- Knowledge of underwriting principles, claims processes, and agency/channel dynamics.
