About Funderzgroup

Fairpark Capital is a leading alternative business funding company dedicated to providing innovative financial solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Our mission is to empower businesses with fast, flexible, and reliable funding options, helping them achieve their growth potential.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly detail oriented Scrubber to support the underwriting team by reviewing, organizing, and verifying documentation submitted for business funding applications. This role ensures all files are complete, accurate, and compliant before they move to underwriting. The ideal candidate is meticulous, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, data driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review 3–6 months of business bank statements to evaluate cash flow, deposit consistency, NSFs, overdrafts, and risk patterns.
  • Analyze business revenue, stability, and merchant processing statements (when applicable).
  • Conduct risk assessments based on industry, cash flow, credit, chargebacks, and business trends.
  • Pull and evaluate soft credit reports, identifying red flags such as liens, judgments, or bankruptcies.
  • Verify business legitimacy through online presence, corporate records, and required documents.
  • Identify potential fraud, stacking, or inconsistencies in financial submissions.
  • Prepare underwriting files with clear notes and findings for senior underwriter review.
  • Communicate with ISOs/brokers to request missing documents, clarify details, and provide file updates.
  • Recommend preliminary funding amounts, factor rates, and holdback percentages based on guidelines.
  • Assist senior underwriters in finalizing approvals, declines, and terms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow internal compliance and underwriting policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in document review, financial services, lending support, or similar administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies quickly.
  • Familiarity with bank statements, business documentation, or basic financial records is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, document management tools, and basic office software.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate or salary, plus performance incentives.
  • Opportunities for growth into underwriting or other operational roles.
  • Supportive and team-focused work environment.

If you are detail driven, process focused, and excited about contributing to a fast-growing business funding team, we would love to hear from you!
