As a key member of our team, you will contribute to pioneering projects that include some of the most advanced industrial and commercial facilities in the industry.
In this role, you will:
- Take charge of schedule and quality: You will be accountable for technical quality and adherence to timelines of challenging engineering tasks while becoming familiar with client expectations and project parameters.
- Be the on-site support: Provide invaluable assistance during startup phases and coordinate with fellow engineers and discipline leads to ensure project success.
- Collaborate effectively: Work within a multi-disciplinary team to design and optimize advanced control systems, ensuring all designs meet industry standards and building codes.
- Create essential documentation: Develop P&IDs, size valves, and specify instrumentation, while documenting and modeling all design elements.
- Drive innovation: Contribute ideas for options and optimizations across all aspects of control systems, instrumentation, and automation.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Instrumentation and Controls
- Knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other control applications (preferred)
- Experience in data center environments (valuable but not mandatory)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (helpful)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A drive for continuous learning and embracing best practices
- A collaborative mindset, enabling successful teamwork across diverse groups
- A passion for construction and building technology
