Job Summary

This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing our manufacturing production process by focusing on the design, development, and implementation of new or improved production processes aimed at optimizing the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient methods and operation sequences for manufacturing parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
- Utilize your technical expertise to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering and manufacturing-related challenges.
- Design and specify the sequence of production operations, including the fabrication of necessary tools and equipment, and the adaptation of machinery for enhanced efficiency.
- Work closely with product design engineering to establish technical specifications that effectively leverage equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Investigate and resolve product non-conformances, including drawings and specifications, providing justifications as needed.
- Estimate manufacturing costs and determine time standards to support production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance of production processes and procedures with relevant regulations.
- Maintain organized records and reporting systems to facilitate smooth coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure the delivery of conforming products.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to address queries throughout the manufacturing process.
- Assist in leading on-site supplier kickoff meetings to discuss the manufacturing plan, schedule, and deliverables.
- Support the development and management of project plans in coordination with the Control Account Manager.
- Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Job Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, combined with two or more years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, and machining.
- A degree in mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing, or industrial engineering is preferred.
- Strong grasp of manufacturing and engineering principles, along with practical experience ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to quickly understand new concepts and apply them accurately in a dynamic environment while meeting established deadlines.
- Excellent communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as necessary. This position operates on a 9X80 schedule with every other Friday off.
