Our Team

You will be a vital member of the JAPAC CAMP team—an early in career group of Presales Engineers focused on co-creating cybersecurity solutions for our most strategic customers' greatest challenges. Our charter is to fail fast, learn fast with an industry-first approach, developing security architectures and blueprints tailored to the unique business, technology, and threat landscapes.

Your Career

As an Intern for AI Security, you will play a hands-on role in defining the future of Secure AI by Design. You will work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and real-world industrial applications.

Your primary focus will be building tangible, industry-specific demo labs that showcase how Palo Alto Networks' security products protect and enable the next generation of AI-driven enterprises. You will help demonstrate our authority in securing complex AI environments to the region's largest organizations across multiple critical sectors.

Your Impact

• Build Cross-Industry AI Demos: Develop hands-on laboratory environments and AI applications that simulate real-world use cases across sectors like Energy, Utilities, and Public Sector.
• Architect "Secure AI by Design": Create end-to-end demonstrations showing how our platform secures the AI lifecycle—from data ingestion and model training to deployment and inference.
• Develop Technical Artifacts: Assist in creating high-impact technical content, including lab guides, reference architectures, and proof-of-concept blueprints that establish our team’s credibility as industry authorities.
• Innovate and Prototype: Stay at the forefront of AI threat landscapes (e.g., prompt injection, data poisoning, model evasion) and prototype innovative ways our products can mitigate these risks.

Qualifications

• Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in AI / Machine Learning, Data Science, or Cybersecurity with a heavy focus on AI models.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain) and strong programming skills in Python.
• Learning, Curiosity, and Initiative: A relentless drive to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI landscape. You are a self-starter who demonstrates the initiative to research emerging threats and build solutions without a predefined roadmap.
• Cybersecurity Fundamentals: A passion for cybersecurity and a drive to stay ahead of the emerging AI security threat landscape (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLMs).
• Problem-Solving Mindset: A strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex AI technical concepts into clear, value-driven demonstrations for business stakeholders.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a high-performing technical team.
