The Role

We are seeking a high-calibre Private Equity Analyst with a strong AI acumen to join our investment team. This role offers full exposure to the private equity lifecycle — from sourcing and diligence to digital transformation and value creation.

The ideal candidate is analytical, resourceful, and passionate about leveraging AI to drive business outcomes. You will be deeply involved in evaluating how AI adoption and digital transformation impact our investment thesis and IRR outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth industry research into Southeast Asia’s mid-market companies with a focus on industries poised for AI transformation and adoption.

• Design and implement AI-driven initiatives to unlock revenue growth and improve commercial performance

• Build robust financial models

, including AI transformation scenarios and valuation sensitivity analyses.

• Support deal sourcing and screening

, identifying companies aligned with our thesis.

• Prepare investment memoranda, LP decks, and strategic materials

Ideal Candidate

• Strong academic track record with First Class Honours in Finance

, C

omputer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science

, or a related quantitative field

• Solid grasp of AI/LLM fundamentals

, including how models are trained and applied

• Comfortable working with AI tools at a technical level, including APIs and structured workflows

• Previous experience in private equity or AI/data roles is highly preferred

• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with commercial intuition.

• Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership.

• Exceptional written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
