Our client, a prestigious family office, is looking for an investment analyst to join their team. This role provides significant exposure to private markets investing, with a focus on evaluating and executing fund and co‑investment opportunities across private equity, venture capital, credit, and real estate. The Analyst will work on deal execution, portfolio analysis, and financial reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the evaluation of fund and co‑investment opportunities across private equity, venture capital, credit, and real estate.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative assessments of GPs, including strategy evaluation, track record analysis, and underwriting models.
- Build and maintain underwriting models and analyses.
- Participate in GP meetings and diligence calls.
- Assist in preparing investment committee materials.
- Support CRM maintenance and data hygiene.
- Maintain portfolio performance models and reporting including ongoing data hygiene and automation.
- Review GP quarterly reports, financial statements, and capital account statements.
- Support internal cash flow analysis.
- Support ad‑hoc strategic projects, research assignments, and participation in industry events.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, fund‑of‑funds, asset management, or transaction advisory with strong financial analysis exposure.
- Strong Excel proficiency with financial modeling experience.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM/pipeline tools.
- Interest in private markets and a desire for broad asset class exposure in a lean, high‑responsibility environment.
- Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
