Investment Analyst - Fund of Funds | Asset Management

This is a hands-on investment analyst role supporting portfolio managers within a regulated fund-of-funds platform. The role combines manager research, portfolio analysis, and investor communication in a flexible working environment.

Description

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on external fund managers and investment strategies
• Perform ongoing due diligence and monitoring of approved funds and portfolios
• Support portfolio managers with asset allocation analysis and fund recommendations
• Develop investment insights and research materials for portfolio decision-making
• Prepare portfolio reports, factsheets, and investment updates for stakeholders
• Liaise with external managers and partners to gather data and investment information

Profile

A successful Investment Analyst should have:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in investment analysis, fund research, or portfolio-related roles
• Strong understanding of fund structures, multi-asset or fund-of-funds strategies
• Advanced Excel capability with the ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets
• Proven ability to translate research into clear, actionable investment insights
• Strong written communication skills for research and investment commentary
