Description:

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Investments you will be a member of the investment team managing approximately $4.5 billion in assets within iAGAM.

Major responsibilities will include:

• Performing quantitative and qualitative research and analysis of designated companies and industries with a focus on North American high yield bond and equity markets.

• Evaluating investments and opportunities based on the iAGAM's Strategic Funds Investment Process

• Ad hoc research, analysis and portfolio related project work

• Developing and updating valuation and market related investment models

• Assisting in the development of monthly/quarterly/annual previews and summaries for clients

• Evaluation, analysis and preparation of periodic reports pertaining to portfolio performance and attribution of returns and general day-to-day discussions on key investment developments

• Participating in the sales process by supporting various distribution networks

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following minimum requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required

• 3 - 8 years of relevant work experience related to investment analysis

• Experience in fixed income is advantageous

Desired Profile:

• Skills and abilities required for the role include: exceptional analytical research skills, curiosity and intellectual rigour, ability to work in a team environment, ability to react quickly and under pressure and must possess excellent communication skills

• Rigour: In analysis and in constructing valuation models

• Communication: Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills

• Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work independently

• A genuine passion for investment analysis is vital in this role. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about evaluating financial data, uncovering opportunities, and driving informed decisions to help shape effective investment strategies.
