Investment Analyst, Mid Market Infrastructure Fund, London

The Client:

We are partnering with a European mid-market infrastructure investment platform that is looking to hire an Investment Analyst into its growing team. The fund is lean and still in its build-out phase, investing across core and core-plus infrastructure, with a strong focus on the energy transition, environmental services, social infrastructure, and digital infrastructure.

This is an opportunity to join at an early stage of the platform’s growth and gain broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle.

Role Overview:

You will support the business across origination, execution, and portfolio management, with additional exposure to ESG, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities include

• Market research and thematic analysis across European infrastructure sectors

• Financial modelling and review of project and acquisition models alongside advisors

• Preparation of investment papers, IC materials, presentations, and portfolio valuations

• Supporting commercial, technical, legal, and financial due diligence

• Assisting with asset management initiatives and fund-level projects

• Supporting ESG, compliance, and regulatory-related workstreams

Candidate Profile:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience with strong financial modelling skills

• Deal advisory and transaction experience within the big 4, leading investment banks or investment teams

• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills

• Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks

• Exposure to energy transition, renewables, digital infrastructure, or social infrastructure
